The Mariri LODGE
We are located approximately half an hour (13 km on an earthen road) from the city of Alto Paraíso, an esoteric city of mysticism, natural therapies, and spiritual cures in the region of the Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park, in the heart of Brazil.
The Lodge was carefully built by its founder, Marianne, with the intention of preserving the land of this pristine area, using eco-friendly and sustainable practices to create unique accommodation spaces. She hosts varied retreats and the space is the stage for several artistic residencies, all created within the ethics and spirit of permaculture.
This peaceful place is surrounded by incredible raw nature, where you have the chance to observe monkeys, and exotic birds, go hiking and connect with the spirit of the Cerrado (the Brazilian Savannah) deeply rejuvenating your body-soul-spirit.
Our values
Here at Mariri Jungle Lodge, we value Nature and all its living beings. We understand that everything connects to everything else and that no plant, animal, or person can live without the rest. After all, we are Nature.
That's why it's important for us to not only love and respect our planet but consciously try to use only what we need, while also giving back and protecting the area we live in.
We value the gifts of nature; Resources are valuable and take a long time to replenish. Water, Plants, and Animals, all play their part in providing a beautiful and healthy environment for all of us to enjoy.
Please remember to take responsibility for your own part, and try to be aware that everything around us is also growing and developing at its own pace just like us.
Please be aware that whatever we put into the environment will eventually find its way back to us. We are Nature.
